Commitment to Food Quality and Safety

As a dynamic company with a sense of continuous improvement and focused on the client, Guimarpeixe created, in 2003, a strategy of certification of its Quality Management System according to NP EN ISO 9001.

Due to the continuous growth, Guimarpeixe sought recognition of their Good Practices of Manufacture and the Quality of their products. In 2004, Guimarpeixe obtained certification of their Food Safety Management according to NP EN ISO 22000.

The scope of the certifications obtained covers all the processes of the company, the receipt of raw materials, storage, processing, shipping and distribution. This ensures the Food Quality and Safety of our product to our Customer.

In 2004 Guimarpeixe was qualified for MSC chain of custody in products such as South African hake and sardine with a sustainable sourcing.
